Coming out = breaking free. Breaking with a  past filled with lies and being free to be who you really are. Give those close to you, including family, the opportunity to be your real friends. Trust them to know more than you think about you, and being just as conflicted about talking to you about it. And yes, sometimes they cant deal, in which case they are not close friends or real family, but mostly they can, and your friendships will become even closer.

When I came out I was relieved from all the pain and lies. Coming Out is acceptance of who you really are and its the best feeling.
There is no perfect time to come out. It will happen one day when you feel like. And when it happens there might be (or might not be) consequences, but you have to be strong and be happy or whatsoever.  Nothing is better than Being Yourself!
