Being from Brazil made me fear being openly gay because of all the violence and prejudice that LGBTQ+ people can suffer there. But being true to myself was stronger than the fear. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a lovely family and friends that supported and loved me as I am. But some people don’t have that lucky, but I wish that they know that they are loved and that they are beautiful. Being true to yourself is the greatest love of all.
